Where to start? How about with the good. I finished Sydney's Christmas hat! I really like the feeling of getting something accomplished and off my needles, but at the same time its almost a little sad not to be knitting it anymore. I get over it pretty quickly though. What is still on the needles? The SFS sock (aka bane of my current existance). If you read my last post you know I had to frog 2/3 of the leg and I'm back to having 2 inches done. Pathetic. I'm working on my mom's socks for her birthday. I have been pretty dilagent about these because socks take me a while and all my Christmas gifts are fairly small, easy, and (hopefully) quick this year so I want to have these well underway before I get too deep in those. Lastly, I'm working on some washcloths for a baby shower I'm going to in October. I want to make sure I get these done, so they have been my prime project I'm working on. Already had to rip one out after 15 rows.
So, the bad. I wanted this post to be chock full of pictures from our trip, of Sydney's hat that is finished, and of course of the kitty. Unfortunately, the batteries in my camera are dead, and I have not had a chance to find the spares or charge these ones. Ugh. So no pictures yet.
Oh, the possibilities. I have been toying with the idea of doing a podcast about knitting, books, movies, cooking, etc. Pretty much everything I mention on here. It's something I've thought about for a while, and I think I;m going to go ahead and do it. Why not? I know there are already a lot of podcasts out there, but no one has my unique perspective or intrest in things :) At least, thats what I'm telling myself. I have to check into a few more things (technical wise) to get it up and running, but who knows? Maybe we'll have a promo up in a week or two :)
That's it for now. Pictures will follow soon, I promise!
